A star has left its skies
To break free like butterflies
To find a place where love hides
Where tears of heaven burned the eyes.
Upon its way, she met a soul
A soul, heading up to soar
She said: "soul? Why have you left your core?"
The soul replied: "love is just another door."
The star continued its way down
Hoping to find a low ground
For the place she left was high and loud,
For the love she fell in without a sound.
The souls strive to ascend out of love
And the star will have to face what's tough,
For the path of love might be enough
That this star won't have to revert back above.
